Hello! I am a senior in the product design program at the University of Minnesota, originally from Sheboygan, Wisconsin.
As a kid, I was always captivated by the visual aesthetics of everyday objects. Whether it was tech products, furniture, or sporting goods, I found myself drawn to certain design forms that I resonated with. When searching for a future educational and career path, I combined my strengths in math and art to discover the ideal field: Industrial Design.
Today, I aim to apply my design abilities while continuously refining them. My strongest skill in the realm of design is sketching. Whether on traditional paper, Procreate, or Adobe Photoshop, I love transforming creative ideas into visual concepts. I also work extensively with SolidWorks, Rhino, and Fusion 360 for 3D modeling, and I rely on KeyShot for creating renderings. Additionally, I frequently use Adobe InDesign and Illustrator to visually communicate my design concepts in final presentations.
Within the field of Industrial Design, I am particularly passionate about footwear and shoe design, as well as general sporting goods and outdoor equipment.
Outside of the design studio, you’ll likely find me staying active. I enjoy playing basketball, golf, cycling, watching Formula 1, hiking, and much more!
