Nike Basketball Shoe Concept. I drew inspiration from a few Kobe Models, which can be seen throughout different aspects in the shoe. This 'Think Pink' colorway is for Breast Cancer Awareness Games in Women's College Basketball in the month of February.
These sketches are from a research project focused on navigating icy winter conditions on campus. The concept explores a wearable system that gives users on-demand traction like spiked footwear for safely walking on snow and ice, and a smooth, classroom-ready sole when indoors.
These are some of my favorite sketches from my summer product design internship at Manning Lighting, showcasing early form exploration, quick concept ideation, and the visual thinking behind my design process. This is only a fraction of my ideas, but I did a lot of work with globes, pendants, and even some wooden fixtures.
